40 Days of Community

counter 40 Days of Community

We are thankful for all of those who have found true community this past 40 days, through small group involvement, learning to love others and serving those in need.

Community doesnt happen automatically. And joining a church doesnt guarantee fellowship! You can attend church services your entire life and still feel lonely and disconnected. The Bible says, You must learn to be considerate of one another, cultivating a life in common (1 Corinthians 1:10, MSG). Notice that fellowship is something we must learn how to do. It must be intentionally cultivated. The focus of this 40-day journey is on fulfilling Gods five purposes together.  Well do this two ways: first, by deepening the community of love within The Point, and second, by reaching out in love to the community around The Point. Both are essential for a healthy, balanced, purpose driven life.

By the end of 40 Days of Community, our congregation should:

  • Place a greater value on the relationships within The Point
  • Have a solid commitment to The Point as well as to our small groups
  • Cultivate a deeper spirit of harmony, love, and appreciation for each other
  • Better understand where we fit within the vision and mission of The Point
  • Extend influence in our community through outreach projects

We have finished the 40 Days of Community campaign as of November 20th, Small groups will continue this winter.  For more info call the church office at:
